Electrocardiogram is done using GE MAC 1200 which is a 12 channel recorder, MAC 400 & MAC 600 are available for ICCU & Inpatient ECG recording. Treadmill testing is done using GE cardio soft to evaluate the response of heart to exercise stress. 24 & 48 hour Holter monitor help us in evaluating patients with heart rhythm problems, silent ischemia palypitations.

Echocardiogram is done using advanced GE Vivid 5 Echo Machine with multiple probes for Adult, Pediatric & Neonatal patiens. Special Echocardiographic Investigation like Transesophageal Echo, Stress Echo and Fetal Echo are done regularly. Portable Echo Micromax is available for emergency bedsides Echo and other procedures and doppler scan.

Intensive Coronary Care Unit at Amrutha Hospitals

15 bedded ICCU is managed by Cardiologist & Critical Care Specialist on 24 hour basis. Qualified & Highly trained Nurses take care of the patients in 1:1 ratio supervised by a head nurse. It is equipped with remote controlled patient operated cots for keeping the patient in comfortable position. Multi parameter Central Cardiac Monitoring System, Defibrillators, External Pacemaker, Portable Echo Machine, Mobile X-Ray unit, Ventilators, etc. All Emergency bedside procedures like Intubation & Ventilation, Pleural fluid aspiration, Pericardiocentesis, Intercostal Tube insertion are done routinely.

Dr.Anjith Vupputuri completed his MBBS from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati; MD General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore(Manipal University), DM Cardiology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from AIMS, Kochi.

He was awarded Dr.K.K.Haridas Memorial Gold Medal in Cardiology and KCSI Young Investor award 2015. He also has several publications in National and International journals to his credit. He has special interest in International cardiology and devices.
